Daily creation limits in the Playground
How the daily counter works, what the limits are, and what happens when you reach one.
Why there is a daily limit
Every Playground reply is generated by an AI model, and each one costs real money to produce. A daily limit keeps the Playground open to everyone rather than only to paying families.
How many creations you get each day
- Free accounts: 10 messages per day
- Premium accounts: 50 messages per day
A small counter beside the message box shows how many you have left today. The count resets every day at midnight UTC, so it may roll over during the afternoon or evening depending on where you live.

When you run out
The Playground tells you that you have used all your creations for today and invites you back tomorrow. Nothing is lost: your saved chats stay in your history, and you can still read, search, rename, and copy them. Only new messages have to wait.
Getting more
Premium accounts get a higher daily limit as part of the plan. See Subscribing to Big Thinkers Premium for what else is included. A parent needs to set up or change a subscription.
Making your creations count
Fewer, richer messages usually go further than many short ones. Ren and Mira respond well to detail, so describing the creature, the rules of your sport, or the constraint you want to work under tends to produce more in a single turn.
